We use innovative therapeutic approaches that help individuals to gain control over their behaviors, and become a more effective communicator. Anger Management groups are ongoing, and certificates can be earned after completion of 6 consecutive weeks.
Advantages of group therapy:
  • learning with and from your peers while under the leadership of a professional mental health provider
  • realizing that you are not alone in your difficulties
  • learning from your peers what does and does not work for them
  • learning by listening, even when not yet ready to verbally participate
  • learning how to work together on shared problems
  • receiving support and encouragement from your peers while learning effective new anger management techniques
Anger management can be also be addressed during individual outpatient sessions.
